Dad is on Gemzar/Xeloda combo
One of the side effects is ulcers in the mouth.
I've made a mouthwash for him : 1/8 teaspoon salt , 1/4 teaspoon baking soda + warmwater
to rinse his mouth after every meal.
i think this brings him much comfort as he automatically asks for it after his meals.
